The first step doesn’t have to be perfect; it just has to be a step. This brief, casual conversation is a chance for us to connect, discuss what you are looking for in therapy, and make sure we are a great fit before moving forward. There is no pressure; you get to show up exactly as you are.
You can request to speak on the phone or meet virtually with a secure video link.
What we will do during our 20 minutes:
Share Your Goals: You can briefly share the transitions or anxiety you're navigating.
Ask Questions: You can ask me about my approach, logistics, or what virtual therapy looks like.
-
Format: 50-minute virtual sessions
Frequency: Weekly to start, then spaced out as you progress. We begin our work together on a weekly basis to build momentum, and establish a strong foundation of coping skills.
As you build confidence, we will space sessions out to bi-weekly or monthly maintenance check-ins. All sessions are held via a secure, virtual video platform, allowing you to log in from the comfort and privacy of your own space anywhere in Colorado or Texas.
-
Your session time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule your virtual session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice via text or email.
Late Cancellations: Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged a $75 late cancel fee.
No-Shows: If you miss your virtual appointment without notifying me within the first 15 minutes of the scheduled time, it will be considered a no-show and charged at the full session fee- $150.
Emergencies: I completely understand that true emergencies happen. If a sudden crisis or illness occurs, PLEASE reach out as soon as possible so we can discuss it.

I believe in making clinical care accessible. I am an in-network provider for the following major healthcare panels, allowing you to maximize your employer or family insurance benefits:
****Please note: Co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance vary by individual plan and will be automatically verified and charged through the secure client portal at the time of your session.
Texas Residents: In-network with United Healthcare/Optum, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Aetna, and some others.
Colorado Residents: In-network with United Healthcare/Optum.

Superbills Provided: If your health insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits (typically PPO plans), I can provide you with a monthly document called a Superbill.
Reimbursement: You can submit this Superbill directly to your insurance company, and they may reimburse you for a percentage of your session costs (typically 50% to 80%).
Tip: I highly recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card and asking: "What are my out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits?" before our first session.
****In compliance with the No Surprises Act, uninsured or self-pay clients are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate. Read my GFE Notice here.
